Not at all! SureStart offers a variety of courses, and several are specifically designed for students with no prior coding experience—including Vibe Lab and AI Explorations. These programs introduce core concepts in a fun, accessible way, helping students build technical confidence while exploring creativity and real-world applications. As students advance through the curriculum, they can gradually take on more complex technical challenges.
Program length and weekly time commitment vary because SureStart's curriculum is fully modular and tailored to the needs of each partner school or organization. We work closely with partners to design programs that fit naturally within existing schedules—whether that means shorter exploratory workshops, semester-long courses, or intensive project-based experiences. Students typically engage in a mix of live instruction, hands-on projects, and collaborative work, with the time commitment adjusted to match the program design.
Yes. SureStart is committed to making high-quality AI education accessible for all learners. We offer need-based scholarships for eligible students, and we also partner with schools and community organizations to expand access for underrepresented groups in STEM. If you're interested in financial assistance, please contact us to learn more about available options.
Student support is a core part of the SureStart experience. Depending on the program design, students may engage with expert mentors, participate in live learning sessions, attend office hours, and collaborate with peers in structured project spaces. Our instructional team and mentors provide guidance throughout the program to help every student build confidence, develop skills, and succeed in their learning journey.
