SureStart is an education organisation that provides AI and technology programs
for students, universities, and K-12 schools. Our website is a static HTML site
hosted on GitHub Pages at mysurestart.org.

No third-party scripts or embeds load until you consent to the relevant category. The only exception is Cloudflare R2 CDN which serves static images and is classified as strictly necessary infrastructure.

You control your cookie preferences through our consent banner, which appears on your first visit with three equally prominent options: Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, and Manage Preferences.
To change or withdraw consent at any time, click the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page. This re-opens the same preferences panel. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as granting it.
When you withdraw consent for a category, we stop loading the associated scripts and embeds on subsequent page loads. Some cookies already set by third parties (e.g., Google Analytics) may persist in your browser until they expire — you can clear them through your browser settings.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends GPC, we automatically default all non-essential categories to off. You may still choose to opt in if you wish.
Static-site limitation: We detect GPC via the JavaScript API
(navigator.globalPrivacyControl). The HTTP header
(Sec-GPC) cannot be read because GitHub Pages has no server-side
processing. All major GPC-capable browsers expose the JS API.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not participate in data broker marketplaces. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels.
SureStart programs serve students including minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Form submissions from minors are handled through school and university partnerships with appropriate consent from parents or guardians.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the website. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the latest update.
